R-Rated Christianity was commissioned to be an unapologetic force for God's truth through various media, and in-person verticals, in order to reconnect America to its founding moral and intellectual traditions.The "Real, Raw, Redemptive" tag-line  describes the organization's focus on communicating the meaning  and relevance of the gospel of Christ to everyone, everywhere, and in all things, through  networking events, social media, literary pieces, and other forms of engagement.

The goal of R-Rated Christianity is to scale the message of God's truth to every corner of American society, through local bible studies, networking events, speaking engagements, podcasts, and consistent radio appearances. The organization seeks to formalize its mission and vision, create a board and operating structure, and leverage media and information vehicles effectively, in order to expand its audience, reach, and influence.

Nico Lahood, former Bexar County District Attorney, is a San Antonio native who now serves as a criminal defense attorney in the community. He graduated from St. Mary’s University with his B.A. in finance and earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University - school of law. Outside of his work in law, Nico is well known for faith outreach and educational initiatives and giving back to his community through speaking engagements, bible studies, media spots and through the example he sets with his daily walk. Nico is married with four children whom he sets as his highest priority after serving the lord.

Jorge Araujo lives in San Antonio, and is the President of Haven Builders, a luxury home construction firm he founded in 2008. Prior to that, he was a Fortune 500 experienced professional, who served in a variety of technical, management, and director-level positions, for some of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. He is a magna cum laude graduate in Chemistry from Delaware Valley College of Science & Agriculture, and holds advanced degrees with honors from LaSalle University (MBA), and Biola University (MA, Christian Apologetics, Science & Religion). When he's not engaging with his community on faith based initiatives, Jorge cherishes the time he spends with his bride of 30 years, and 4 amazing children.
